    1. This app doesn’t provide this feature. The image overlay area is not transparent. As you can see our demo website that none of the overlay areas are transparent.

  1. Can you overlay images and not just text? For example, I want to have a grayscale image underneath and then upon hovering show the same image, but it color. Would this app do that?

    1. Actually the overlay area is drag and drop enabled, which means that any weebly element including image can be added in overlay area. But you need to make sure that the overlay image’s resolution i.e width and height matches the overlay area so that it properly covers that image.

  2. I am disappointed with this purchase. I don’t mind that opacity isn’t included, however, over my photos, I get a wide, solid box with a skinny column of text that is too narrow to put a 6 letter word. Can the text width be adjusted so it isn’t so skinny? It looks ridiculous.

    1. The width of overlay text depends on the width of image. Moreover, since the image overlay area is drag and drop enabled, you can add text element over image instead of title element which will make sure that the text size is smaller. Please let me know if you still need any assistance.

  3. How can I make the image (and overlay) a link?
Also, I am having issues with text in the overlay not keeping center-align.

    1. Since the Image Overlay works using the hover effect so it’s not possible to make the image and complete overlay area clickable. However, since the overlay area is drag and drop enabled, hence we can add links inside that area.

      1. Great! I hadn’t thought of that!
So for others: to solve this problem I made a .png image of the text (with excess space around it) that I wanted. I dropped that image into the overlay area and then made it a link. Solved both of my problems.
