CODOSEO WordPress plugin helps to improve the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the WordPress website by integrating basic and very important features in the post/page editor of the WordPress dashboard. Following is the list of important features of the CODOSEO WordPress plugin.

1. Global SEO Settings; Once the plugin is installed and activated the admin can visit the plugin settings page WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> SEO Manager to configure the global SEO settings (Meta Keywords and Meta Description) for the website. Global SEO settings will be used if there are no post/page specific SEO settings defined.
2. At post/page editor, the admin can define the post/page specific SEO settings (SEO Title, SEO Keywords, and SEO Description) which will override the Global SEO Settings.
3. Moreover, if the post/page specific SEO Description is not defined then first 155 character of the post/page content will be used as the meta description tag.
4. If post/page specific keywords are not defined then the plugin will generate the meta keywords from the tags and categories of the post/page.
5. The plugin also adds Meta Robots tag with index/follow or noindex/follow depending on the page.
6. The plugin automatically generates an optimized unique title if post/page specific SEO Title is not defined.
